Dallas does what they have to do in the second half as they blow out the Fire. Portland did do a good job keeping it close in the first half though! They never had the lead, but it was definitely a lot closer than when this game was through! As I said, the Wings proved their superiority for the rest of this contest. A ginormous run gave them a massive lead that was never threatened. Good win for the Wings, but the Fire were completely uncompetitive in the closing stages of this game

Exactly what you expect from a team trying to clinch the last playoff spot. The Wings had a 50-37 lead at halftime and didn’t look back. They started the third quarter on a 15-4 run to end any doubt this one. Paige Bueckers scored 22 points and dished out 11 assists. Jessica Shepard scored 21 points. Awak Kuier is becoming really fun to watch. She had 12 points, 12 rebounds, 3 steals and 5 blocks. Congrats on the playoffs Dallas.
