Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “Montreal really has Carolina’s number and it is not for lack of trying on Carolina’s part. As they tend to do, the Hurricanes barraged the Habs. They tested Dobes repeatedly. They had way more shots than the Habs while getting many good chances as well and Dobes just shut the door almost every time. Even with that, the Habs couldn’t win this game on the back of elite goaltending alone. Carey Price knows all about that. So the Habs needed offense. Who better than their captain? Nick Suzuki was brilliant. Completely outplaying and out working Seth Jarvis and pretty much everyone else wearing a Canes jersey. Ironically, Carolina actually scored first, only for Suzuki to match it in the 2nd period and then Caufield matched it with help from Suzuki. Suzuki also got the insurance goal that made it much easier for Montreal to cope in the final minutes. I brought up Suzuki repeatedly for obvious reasons, but Caufield continues to be fantastic down the stretch while shooting for the Rocket.”
