The Sharks got a late, comeback W to move within one point of a wild card spot. Macklin Celebrini had a 4 point game (2 goals, 2 assists), Alexander Wennberg got the game winning goal with thirty seconds left after Macklin tied it with a minute and a half left, and Yaroslav Askarov made multiple big saves to keep them in it. This team wants the playoffs. If they keep playing like this, they’ll deserve the playoffs.

Let the Celebrini celebrations continue! The Sharks make a miraculous last minute push to tie and then win the game in the final few minutes. I would normally crap on the Ducks for being a pathetic ‘division winner’, but let me put on my tinfoil hat today. The Ducks are doing almost everything in their power to hand the Pacific division to Edmonton. Yet, I have a sneaking suspicion that, perhaps, it’s more calculated. Finishing 2nd would allow them to face a bad Pacific team thanks to the stupid playoff system. However, they can’t make it too obvious or else a bunch of people will pick up on it. So what do they do? Outshoot the Sharks and still find a way to lose. Celebrini, unknowingly, was a big help with their true goal as he was dominant and willed the Sharks to victory. He contributed to every goal in a major way, either scoring it himself or being the primary assist. It’s one of the few games where you could make a case 1 guy carried his team to victory and it wasn’t the goalie.

Celebrini and Reaves interview at the end of the game with Biz was so funny. Reaver saying he wouldn't hug Celebrini because he was sweaty was hilarious. Huge matchup between the two teams. You can tell these two teams are future heated rivals. 4 points for Macklin. This guy is a magician. What a player.

ANOTHER GAME OF THE YEAR FOR YOURRRRRR SAN JOSE SHARKKSSSSSSS
Macklin got to FOURTY goals on the year with 2 incredible shots. And Alexander Wennberg SAVES US AGAIN!! Two goals at the final 2 minutes of the game like that was some of the best hockey I’ve seen us play in a long team. Not even a sellout at The Tank tonight but damn that place was bouncing. We stay 1 point out with plenty games and momentum to go. This team is so resilient and elite I feel we truly have something special brewing for the long term.

This one is going to sting for a while. The Ducks gave up the first goal of course, but they played a great all around game for 58 minutes. Unfortunately for Anaheim, Macklin Celebrini exists and he made a couple great plays to score the tying goal and get the primary assist on the winning goal to stun the Ducks. This might’ve lost Anaheim the division
