This one looked like it could be the end for Ottawa.
early in the game they lose their only remaining left-shot defender, meaning they currently have to play 55 minutes with 5 defenceman, 4 of which didn’t even start the season on the roster.
The boys battled back however, matching buffalo’s pace and getting some scrappy goals, including Cozens’ first against his former team.
On top of that Ullmark made a statement with his play tonight. He was confident and kept them in the game, despite a few questionable moments.
Props to this team for another scrappy win and let’s keep this going!
