Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “This game just made me sad. My mentality was simple: screw the tank. I needed the Flames to win this game. It goes beyond just the fact that the Flames have Vegas’s 1st round pick. I won’t go into it now, but iykyk. That aside, this was a great back-and-forth game through 2 periods. The Golden Knights lived up to their reputation of slow starts as Morgan Frost was left all alone to wait and score the first goal of the game. The game really got going in the 2nd period. Mitch Marner tipped a goal past Wolf, Coleman responded, Marner scored again thanks to a beautiful pass from Rasmus Andersson. Coleman then chipped it past him for his 2nd goal of the game, only for Dorofyev to score and tie it up once again. After a weird ice-related delay that felt like an hour, the 3rd period started. Sadly, the Flames came out completely limp while Vegas didn’t stray away from their ‘saving their best for last’ routine. Vegas dominated and Calgary left Wolf for dead. Big time bummer for me, tank aside”
