I will ignore how stupid the current playoff system is and admit I’m super excited for this matchup, especially after this game felt and looked like an intense playoff game. The ending was kinda awkward, but the other 59 minutes and 45 seconds were great so it makes up for it. From beginning to end this was a fast paced offensive showcase. We even got 2 Stars comebacks. After Wyatt Johnston opened the scoring, Quinn Hughes and Kaprizov in the dying seconds of the 1st period tied it up and gave the Wild the lead respectively. Kaprizov doubled the lead and Dallas could’ve rolled over and died. Instead, Blackwell scored less than 2 minutes later and their own Hughes tied it up. Again, Minnesota gave the Wild the lead in the dying seconds of a period and they led 4-3 heading into the 3rd. Rantanen took over and managed to tie it up and Robo found the winner. A late Wild powerplay made the ending tense to the end, but Dallas managed to hang on.”
