Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “Flames get a win in a game defined by youth and vibes that was uplifting in virtually every way. The major story of this game is Arsenii Sergeev. He made his NHL debut tonight as an emergency call up and looked fantastic. To make matters worse, the Flames relied on him to make a bunch of saves as we rightfully prioritized giving the young guys experience tonight which led to more than a few rookie mistakes. Somehow a goalie with a save percentage below .900 in the AHL stopped 27 of 28 shots against a playoff team. I will be nice and say the kid had a great day. Thus, the Calgary Flames’ season is over and I have once again rated every game. This season wasn’t nearly as fun as last year, but it was still a joy despite the final record. Parekh seems to have really found himself and scored a beauty tonight. Conroy killed it at the deadline and accumulated draft capital. Gridin became an underrated rookie, Frost looked great and so much more. There’s plenty of optimism. Plz lottery gods.”
