Massive win for the Ducks! They played a really great and were able to respond every time the Oilers scored! Anaheim had a 1 goal lead going into the third period and they blew that lead again, but Cutter GOAThier was able to score with 5 minutes left, giving the Ducks a lead they wouldn’t choke! Tied series going back to Anaheim!

Okay, what the hell happened here? TEN COMBINED GOALS? Funnily enough, the first period was the calmest, resulting in a 1-1 tie. Then, Anaheim outscored the Oilers 3-2 in the second period. No momentum exists here. Edmonton tied it up with a Samanski goal in the third, however, Anaheim's Gauthier brought the Ducks up 5-4. Oilers went empty net to try and score, and it almost looked like they were, but unfortunately for the Oilers and all the neutrals who wanted OT, Anaheim got a breakaway and Poehling scored for the Ducks to put the game away. Good one here, should be an entertaining rest of the series, even if it doesnt go as far as we would think it would. 😇

this game hurt a bit because I knew that we had met our match. connor ingram let some really bad rebounds go in this game, most of them were pounced on and ended up in the back out the net. overall this game was a fun watch because of the samanski goal oiler oiler oiler oiler oiler oiler (shoutout jack and NRL)

Very very weird to watch McDavid feel like a liability tonight, he cannot play hockey like that and expect to win a cup. With that being said he is the character and the harshest critic is himself. I fully expect him to pop off for the rest of the series after the performance.

This was certainly an interesting one. Only part of this game I saw was someone throwing a rotisserie chicken on the ice 😭 In all seriousness though, I expected the Oilers to roll through an undeserving Ducks team, but they are playing well this series. Oilers as always have horrendous goaltending, its the same old story every year. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl carry the team just for everyone else to let them down when it matters most.

The ducks was playing really well today leading almost all game but the oilers was always one goal behind and tied the game in the 3 just for the ducks to score 2 goals and win the game

The Oilers had opportunities but in my opinion luck just was not on their side. That dang rebound for the Ducks 5th goal was unfortunate. Now the series is tied going back to Anaheim and the Oilers need a split.

Really good one from Edmonton as the Ducks get their first playoff win since 2017. Oilers tie it just for Cutter to get it right back, and the empty netter no problem. The Ducks steal home ice advantage heading into game three.

Oilers tried to pull off a late comeback but Ducks slam the door shut

Looks to be a good series.

I only caught part of this game but I only watched cuz my goat announcers (Randy Hahn & Drew Remenda) were on the call tonight. They killed it. Felt like watching a Sharks playoff game again 😢 But this still was an impressive showing by both teams. Anaheim just got the better of Edmonton tonight. Gonna be a great series going back to SoCal for the next couple games

Crazy scoring game and they finally got with the program and brought some physicality as well. The refs were terrible ngl but the Ducks just manhandled the Oilers for the dub!
