Utah gave this one up. Vegas wanted it so much more and I think Utah felt that even going in. I really believed Vegas was the best team to play first round. Utah had their number through the regular season. But, the lack of playoff experience showed through this series. Now, they have a bit of it for the coming future. Going to have to fix a few things for next season but that was a given no matter how this series ended. Sucks that the season is now over for Mammoth but at least they made the playoffs. That was always the goal.

Utah just wasn't ready yet. They are gonna have such a good team in the next few years but this year was just to start preparing them. I already love what I'm seeing from the young core. Keller is just so fast and talented. The Mammoth are gonna need to work on that powerplay, it is horrendous even though they have all the most skilled players on it. Really great game from Marner who has finally turned up the jets. Probably would have never gotten this far if he was on the Leafs. Him and Howden are amazing together, especially on that penalty kill.
