DO NOT LET ANYONE EVER TELL YOU MOMENTUM IS NOT REAL! That 3rd period was completely bonkers and turned a game that was looking just alright and a death blow for Carolina into an all-time classic and a huge boost for the Hurricanes. I had written down ‘Not as good as game 1’, boy was I wrong. Let’s start with what happened before.
Vegas was scrapping out a tough W through 2 periods. The Hurricanes came out a little flat and Howden made them pay by scoring a goal where he stiff armed a Cane. The 2nd coming of Fernando Pisani (iykyk) then scored a 2nd goal in the 2nd period to put pessimism in the ground going into intermission. I literally said ‘1 goal and Carolina has momentum’, guess what happened?
Stankoven broke through by stripping Ras (sorry Ras), former Flames 1st round pick Jankowski tied it up and Jordan Staal gave Carolina the lead with 5 minutes to go. It was over if not for Mark Stone sending this game to OT. A few minutes later, Seth Jarvis tied this series up at 1. WOW.

Because sometimes you just feel tired. Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you want to just give up. But you have to search within yourself, try to find that inner strength, and pull it out of you. Get that motivation to not give up and not be a quitter, no matter how bad you want to fall flat on your face and collapse. Hockey is like magic, there's just a certain feeling you get when your boys are real and about it, then people are fearing their wits. While it’s your moment, every single minute you spend should be trying to hold on to it, cause you may never get it again, so while they’re in it, try to get as much time as you can, and when their run is over, just admit when it's at its end. I'm at the end of my wits with half the stuff that gets in. And if you can’t help it, then may kids, you shouldn’t begin. Till the shield goes up, and the swords go down, I hope they enjoy this time. As it’s only once as found.

WHAT A GAME WHAT A 3RD PERIOD!!! Vegas was up 2-0 in the 3rd inning and dew to having a long day I was tired and was about to go to bed, and then. The Hurricane scored than they scored again AND AGAIN Hurricane up 3-2 with a minute or so left in the 3rd then the knights score to tie it! Just for the Hurricane to finish there comeback and score in overtime!
As a hockey casual infact not even that these 2 games have been absolutely amazing to watch and I really hope the rest of the Stanley cup continues like this 8.5/10 what a game!

PEOPLE DOUBT THEM. “Where’s Jarvis? Where’s Aho? Where’s Svechnikov?” WELL THERE. THEY. ARE. One of the most back-and-forth games of the playoffs. 2-0 Vegas, 2-2, almost goal disallowed, challenged fails, 3-2 Canes, 3-3, and Jarvis makes it 4-3 in OT. What a game. What a series. Let’s hear the STORM SURGE.

Absolutely incredible. Howden scored 2 early and then Carter Hart just fell apart in the 3rd and Carolina stormed their way back. I was shocked it was even this close, I thought Carolina would give them belt and leave no doubt in anyone's mind that it was going back to Vegas tied. I think Carolina will pull one out of Vegas and make it 2-2 headed back home.

Holy crap what a game! Game of the playoffs! I was on a call talking to this girl when VGK went up 2-0 and after Carolina scored I kept her on call but after Carolina scored again. She had to go ok, hang up on her and locked in. I got 4 missed calls this morning but I don’t give an ass. What an amazing game hockey this 2 was. This series is great.
