I’m beyond astonished, how could this be happening to me? I think I’m one of the luckiest people on our big blue and green planet! I been given a gift that millions would die for, and I’m not going to waste it either. If anybody recalls, my take covering game two was rather vindictive, and I apologize. I just want to say that I am in no way like that. Using song lyrics to show my emotions on a grand scale like this? Come on, who do you take me as? I for one, just need to think twice. Think twice before what I say, could it hurt somebody? Could it come out rude? I’m too privileged to do that now. I truly need to think twice, as it’s just another day for me and mine in paradise. Yeah, think twice! It's truly just another day for you, but for me and mine? Paradise! If anybody from Carolina needs a shoulder to cry on, I will be here, don't you cry! You’ll be in my heart! Yes, you'll be in my heart! Lastly, to the series, I know a cup can’t fly, but I can feel it coming in the air, tonight.

This game went from a 7 to 1000, it was unbelievable. Carolina clearly learned from their mistakes and played much better to start this game in the 1st period. They then proceeded to make a million new mistakes in the 2nd as Mitch Marner seemingly ripped their souls out before consuming them whole with the fastest hat trick in Stanley Cup Final history and an assist in case that wasn’t enough. The Hurricanes looked dead.
Pretty much everyone wrote them off. So of course they had the wildest sequence out of nowhere. 3 goals in 39 seconds, the fastest 3-goal span in NHL history. We had the fastest hat trick and the fastest 3 goal stretch in the same Stanley Cup Final game. WOW.
After all that, we still had 10 minutes of hockey full of animosity and close calls. It culminated in a Canes power play with 3 minutes to go. It was now or never. Carolina decided it was NOW when they scrapped out a tying goal. Incredible.
In double overtime, a bad bounce ended Carolina’s wonderful comeback.

Holy. Shit. What in the actual f*ck did I just witness? Mitch Marner with a 2nd period hat trick and all of a sudden its 4-0 Golden Knights. At 10:23, I mentioned the fact that the game was a shutout. WITHIN 2 F*CKING MINUTES IT WAS A 4 TO 3 GAME. MY JINX POWERS NEED TO BE STOPPED I’M TOO POWERFUL 😭😭😭
After 45 minutes of flawless hockey, Carter Hart finally consented to Carolina scoring and for a minute and a half it didn’t even seem like someone was in net for Las Vegas. Absolute chaos.
And then the Carolina power play turned into even more chaos. Puck bouncing around, looked like all 11 players on the ice were in the crease. Finally, it ended with the puck in the back of the net to tie the game 4-4 with just over 90 seconds left.
Then finally in double OT, Shea Theodore said good night. Absolute cinema. I love playoff hockey. 10/10.
This game has produced 3 of the top 10 hockey games I’ve watched in my entire life. And it’s only a 2-1 series. PLEASE 4 MORE GAMES OF THIS!

I wanna go to bed. I wanna rewatch the goals. I wanna see Carolina win the series. I wanna see another comeback victory. I wanna see a game 7. I wanna see OT every game. I wanna see Bussi at full extension. I wanna attend a playoff hockey game. I wanna see Marner score 10 goals in a period. I wanna see Carolina score 10 goals in 10 minutes. I wanna understand Torts’ brain. I wanna understand why the playing quality decreased so much after the 3rd period. I wanna write my did you know. I wanna relive those 39 seconds. I wanna hear what Torts said to his team after the 4-4. I wanna believe that Carolina has this in the bag. I wanna live to see Vegas get relocated and finish middle of the league for 20 years straight. I wanna see McDavid play for Montreal. I wanna see another Pens b2b cup run. I wanna see Crosby Malkin Letang together another 20 seasons. I wanna see USA dawg Russia during their game. I wanna get back into playing hockey. I wanna end this take. I wanna go to bed. I wanna……

Playoff hockey is a beautiful sight.
Game was off the charts. Deux buts were called back and things got spicy with the Vegas faithful. Then Vegas gets on the board. Followed by a natural hat trick by Mitch Marner.
It was at this point I felt Bussi should come in. He did in the 3rd. Though Vegas defence has to look themselves in the mirror for allowing trois buts in trente-neuf seconds (SCF record by the way).
Of course I have to mention the deux own buts by Carolina tonight, which is not ideal for the SCF to say the least. Especially when one of them is the game winner in 2OT.
This game is a testament to why more people should watch playoff NHL. There's something for everyone.

3 GOALS IN 39 SECONDS CAME BACK FROM DOWN 0-4 IN THE 3RD PERIOD IF THEY SUCCEED WITH A WIN IT WILL BE THE GREATEST COMEBACK IN A STANLEY CUP GAME EVER AND IN DOUBLE OVER TIME the hurricanes score on their own goal to lose the game... What a game that was! unfortunate ending for the hurricanes but the knights get to crawl out victorious after giving up a massive lead!
This is my first time trying watching a playoff hockey series (the whole thing) so this is my first ever Stanley cup but from what I'm seeing this could be one of the greatest ever if they keep this up 9.1/10 BRAVO 👏
