Great Game. If we had a win it would be even better. No PB5 in this one. Who steps up? ARIKE!!! MY GOAT!! She had 29 5 and 6 and a steal. Jess Shepard had 12 and 16. The usual from her. Breanna stewart had 33 13 and 8. 2 Minutes left in the game. 78-78. Arike shoots a deep three. BANG. 78 to 81. Jonquel Jones gets a Re and shoots. Swish. 80 to 81. Breanna Stewart hits 2 free throws to make in 82 to 81. Arike misses a shot. Foul called. Refs Overturn it and its a jump ball. Nobody cares about all the fouling and shii at the end so skipping to overtime. Later Arike hits a three to make it 99 to 98. That was all we could muster today. Arike misses the game winner. Tough one to lose.

What a game!! No Paige Bueckers, but the Wings had the Liberty on the ropes until the fourth quarter. Breanna Stewart went off and got the Liberty back on it. Both teams made the free throws late on the fourth quarter to take us into overtime. Ionescu and Ogunbowale both hit some clutch threes in OT and you kind of hoped we could get another overtime, but the Wings couldn’t get that last layup to win it. A great game with players on both sides coming a big, the Liberty just came up a little bigger.

Oh a absolute heartbreaker for the Wings here. Without Bueckers they were able to force an overtime with a really great team and play so well. Liberty get the win in the end but this team showed it is not just ran through Bueckers and they can still compete. Great game overall!

This game had to be rescheduled, but it was well worth the wait! The Liberty and the Wings were going blow for blow for the entire first half, so you knew the second half would be special! The Wings would have the edge for most of the next half, but the Liberty weren’t going to go down without a fight! They mounted their comeback and brought this one to overtime! This time, New York would have the advantage and Dallas would be trying to come back, but Arike Ogunbowale missed the dagger to taint her amazing night and give the Liberty the win!
