The most nerve-wracking game I’ve ever watched. Arsenal was so so close, but they were inches wide and high. PSG repeats as UCL champions. This isn’t your standard great game, it certainly wasn’t back and forth. You can get that message just from looking at the box score and see PSG had way more possession and way more shots. But Arsenal struck first and revealed their cards. They stifled PSG’s attack. They didn’t have a shot on target until the last minute of the 1st half. That changed in the 2nd half as PSG applied more and more pressure on Arsenal. Then, the penalty. Dembele scored, tied it up and my heart was racing for the rest of the game. We couldn’t settle this at full time, so we had extra time. Not much happened there, so we had insanely dramatic penalties.
I can’t be mad at Arsenal. Do I wish they had more shots? Of course. But they played their game nearly to perfection. PSG had no open play goals and only a few shots from inside the box. It just wasn’t meant to be. COYG

Arsenal with the spicy kick off! 1st goal of the game before the 10min mark 🔥 I absolutely live for penalty kicks. It’s pure thrill. Takes ur literal breath way. Unfortunately, Arsenal tried a little too hard to fool the goalie and it just winded up bitting them in the arseee(nal)

I thought it was Raya’s moment I really did after he saved the 3rd shot and squared it up. Everyone was gassed. At the end of extra time you could see they were just kicking it around and the commentators said “they’ve run out of ideas” which was spot on and Arsenal out of magic in heartbreaking fashion. Shaking for Gabriel he absolutely skied that thing it might be still up there. Ugh. 1/2 🏆🥈

I don't watch many soccer games. So when I do watch one, you know it's bound to be an absolute banger. And that's what this years Champions League final was.
I absolutely love penalty kicks. Perfect mind games. Kicker vs goalkeeper. 1v1. And PSG played it perfectly. They kicked it right on every PK. David Raya kept thinking, this has to be the time they finally go left. And they never did.

Sorry for the Arsenal fans out there, penalties loss is a tough pill to swallow. But as a Tottenham supporter, I am so relieved the trophy is not going to the ugly side of North London. Huge chances in the 120th and Arsenal were lwky robbed in extras. What a finish to club football this season.

In a game for the Champions League final, PSG took it in a 4-3 penalty shootout. Kai Havertz had the opening goal for Arsenal in the first 15 minutes and took the lead into the break at halftime. PSG scored on a penalty in the second half to make it 1-1 and force extra time. It was fitting for a back and forth game to end with PSG lifting their second consecutive Champions League trophy.

This was a great watch. Kai Havertz gets the scoring started early and gives arsenal a 1-0 lead, and it isn't until the 2nd half where dembele equalizes on a pen. From there it was pretty defensive football until pens, which were tense as all hell. Gabriel skies the final one to give PSG b2b UCL wins

Outstanding Champions league final.
Mr I only score in European competitions opened the scoring for the Arsenal. Then a penalty for PSG to knot it up. Extra time was lackluster but I will say I think Arsenal was the better team.
Cpfc legend known for his shit penalty technique Eberechi Eze misses the penalty and no idea why Gabriel took the penalty and he misses. PSG retain the UCL and Palace have won a European trophy and Arsenal has not. 😘😘
