The Bundesliga is back and it’s on RateGame for the first time ever! This is a great matchup. Yes Bayern is one of the very best clubs in the world, but Stuttgart is no slouch. They finished 2nd 3 years ago and will be playing Champions League football this season. I know the final score will make you doubt me; you just have to trust me on this one.
Stuttgart was proving me right in the early goings. They were doing more than just keeping up, they were neck-and-neck with Bayern. Even when Bayern scored off a beautiful Kimmich delivery to Upamecano, Stuttgart wasn’t backing down. Then the 2nd half arrived and Michael Olise completely took over. Ironically Stuttgart scored first, only for Bayern to score 4 straight, which could’ve been 5 if one hadn’t been called back for offside. Just a divine beatdown. Olise was the standout to me. Luis Diaz was also great, forcing Bredlow to make multiple big saves. Kimmich was brilliant as always. Mittlestadt and Vagnoman gave valiant efforts on D.

Stuttgart definitely didn’t play an especially bad game today, but they were obviously no match for Munich. Bayern did of course take the first lead and they were insanely dominant, but Stuttgart was able to tie it early on in the second half! I was kind of hoping they could keep it up, but they couldn’t. Munich responded with a pair of quick goals, and they never looked back. Stuttgart did get a few changes to come back in this game, but they all came up short, and Bayern was able to add on two more goals thanks to two nice assists from Saibari in his Bundesliga debut! Bayern Munich was just way too much for Stuttgart to handle.
Edit: I forgot to add this, but I think it is really weird that Fandango of all providers has the rights to Bundesliga matches
