I’m fascinated that Bologna plays at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara which was built in 1927 (!) easily one of the coolest stadiums I’ve seen and up there with the Azteca in terms of history and culture

Not the start Bologna wanted. Definitely had their chances and especially late but not the luck they needed. Good win for Lazio

Bologna looked good in this match, but that wasn’t enough to beat Lazio. They really did control the play though for the entire first half and the start of the second half, but they slipped up and Lezio scored in the 59th minute! Bologna had some more opportunities to get back into this match, but they weren’t able to convert any of them! Lazio didn’t really do anything before or after their goal. They were able to keep Bologna off the board, and that’s all that matters! Not a very eventful game and this was definitely not how Bologna wanted to start this season, but Lazio gets a strong road win right off the bat!
