One of the first CBB games I can remember watching. I fell in love with the sport immediately. Easiest 10/10 ever

I am too young to remember it unfortunately, I got dialed into to sports around 2010. However, all my sport management & analytics professors at Syracuse managed to mention and discuss this game at some point in my college career.

We need more of these historical games.

I wasn't alive for this game lol but I just saw the highlights and of course I know Kemba Walker. I think Jonny Flynn also made it to the NBA. Crazy game!

I remember waking up and being so mad that I missed this live. I then proceeded to watch the highlights on SportsCenter the entire day the Garden was so electric. PEAK Big East Basketball. Names like Jonny Flynn and Andy Rautins for Cuse and ofc Kemba, AJ Price and Hashemite Thabeet (!) for UConn. Unreal.

6 Overtimes is insane

Maybe the greatest basketball game ever. The buzzer beater at the end of regulation that was shot .1 second too late. Back and forth all overtime until Syracuse finally pulled away in 6 overtimes. Absolutely incredible.
