WOWOWOWOW. This game was neck and neck the whole time could have easily gone either way. Providence’s freshman impressed me especially Vaaks. On the other side Avdalas proved how good he really is which is a top player in the country. This Virginia tech team could get sneaky.

Neo AVDALAS! Lottery pick on the way, this man can score. Hansberry was huge down low, and returner Tobi Lawal was a monster on defense, he changed the game in OT. This VT team is a tournament team. Providence with an incredible fight too. Oziyah Sellers (stanford) and Jason Edwards (vandy) were incredible offensively. Vaaks is another great freshman, not afraid to shoot threes, got length on defense. Need a few less Iso possessions from Edwards and Avdalas down the stretch, just some bad shot decisions, and Vaaks has to learn what’s his shot and what’s not. A massive win for VT and the ACC in what was basically a road game in connecticut

My absolute favorite game of the season. VT bias aside, this was such a good game all around. Hard to not talk about Neo Avdalas and his impact, but I think Tyler Johnson’s energy and big shotmaking from Jailen Bedford really wrapped this one together for me. Sellers and Edwards are incredible scorers and the Friars probably have tourney potential
