Bryce Lindsay looked like Nova’s replacement for Eric Dixon. After moving on from Neptune, i didn’t have high hopes for the Villanova team but they kept it close, thanks in part to Duke Brennan. AJ Dybansta was just clean in this game, nothing special, just effective scoring. Richie Saunders was incredible as well, one of the only returners for BYU. Cougars NEEEED more 3-pt shooting if they want to make a run, adding Robert Wright from Baylor definitely helps but they absolutely need to score more beyond the arc

BYU basketball is back with their highest expectations ever and they delivered! Dybansta put up 21 points in his debut and the Cougars were up big for most of the game! Villanova did bring it close for the second half, but a great closing effort from BYU would seal it! The Cougars start 1-0!
