Michigan gets a small piece of revenge for football season with a couple wins in basketball season against Ohio State. Missing 8 of 9 shots during the first half of the 2nd half was killer. Michigan was too dominant inside for the Buckeyes to have any chance to win after that and the Wolverines are now 22-2. Aday Mara was a massive part of their domination inside the paint. 24 points on 70% shooting is a great game no matter what level you play. Johnson and Lendeborg provided the X-factor by gobbling up those boards Mara couldn’t grab himself. Trey McKenney provided some shooting from off the bench just in-case the Buckeyes were hoping their rivals would be 1-dimensional. Pretty much every Buckeye struggled with their shot with Thornton being the biggest victim followed closely by behind by Mobley who nearly didn’t make a shot despite having almost 10 attempts. Can’t say OSU couldn’t generate open looks, they did, repeatedly. They just couldn’t make them. It is that simple.
