Great day for sports and that includes College basketball. Arizona and BYU came into this game eager to start a new hot streak and Arizona came out scorching. That run was led by Dell’Orso of all people who capped it off with a buzzer beater in the dying seconds to give the Wildcats a 7-point lead going into halftime. BYU on the other hand was much reliant on their duo of Dynbantsa and Wright who scored 27 (16 and 11 respectively) of their 35 first half points. Guess which one was more sustainable? I’ll give you a hint: the one that didn’t rely on 2 players to win it all. Arizona pulled away in the 2nd half and used that gap to cruise to victory. Granted, BYU did give them a brief scare. Dybantsa nearly put up half their points with the 47th 33-point game in their school’s history. BYU had the chance to make it a 1-possession game, but Krivas’s steal and Dell’Orso’s dunk off of it basically ended this game. It was just a matter of time before the result became official. Good game.

Did not think that Zona would lose 3 in a row and I'm happy to see my ball knowledge was correct on this one

Arizona beats BYU at home, 75-68! Anthony Dell’Orso led with 22 points off the bench, Bradley had a 12 point - 10 assist double double & Kharchenkov added 18 points & 7 rebounds. The 2 game losing streak has ended. AJ Dybantsa has now scored in double figures in all 26 games, tied with TJ Haws for the second-most by a freshman in program history. also AJ Dybantsa's 35 points are tied for the fifth-most by a freshman in program history. and also AJ Dybantsa with a freshman record 28 field goal attempts.

Not a surprising result here. Dybantsa had 35 but it’s not enough to bear Arizona as they get back on track and get a much needed victory. BYU is now 3-6 in their last 9 games and it’s looking like it’s going to be 3-7 in their last 10 as they have to play Iowa State this Saturday. Arizona will play Houston on Saturday in a potential final four preview.

Despite the injuries in this game, it was great! Arizona 3 point shooting decided to show up. Almost blew another late lead to BYU, but like last time, came up short. Great game

Dell'Orso was really good, U of A showed they can win without Peat. Big test on Saturday at Houston... On the other hand, BYU looked really good w/ Dybantsa but still showed w/o Saunders that they need him. Tough L.

BYU played better than I thought they would. Zona is still dominant.

BYU played a great game, but Arizona was just better and a late push by the Cougars was just too little too late as the Wildcats bounce back!

Arizona is on another level than BYU and proved it in this one lead by 22 from Anthony Dell'Orso as well as a double double from Jayden Bradley with 12 and 10 assists AJ Dybansta still went for 35 but did not get much help
