Not a pretty win, but a win nonetheless. Red Sox capitalized on mistakes by the Royals and found runs in every way they could. Brayan Bello with 4 very solid innings then started to unravel in the 5th and Brennan Bernardino had to finish up the inning, crediting him with the win. In classic 2020s Red Sox fashion the bullpen tried to blow the game, but they just barely held on thanks to a nice save from Kenley Jansen.
