Swept by an Astros team we were in the middle of a Wild Card race with. Entered the series 61-53 with the Astros 59-55, a whole two games ahead, and after this Astros had passed us at 62-55 compared to 61-56. Probably the worst series in this season to get swept in for the Red Sox. The Sox ended the year 5 games out of a Wild Card spot at 81-81, so of course there was much worse to come, but this was a terrible series. Brennan Bernardino and Luis Garcia got absolutely cooked in this game and overall it was just a terrible loss for the Sox.
