That 2024 trade deadline deal for the Orioles to get Zach Eflin was looking amazing, he got to 4-0 as an Oriole in this game. Wilyer Abreu homered early but it was all Baltimore from there. Pretty much a normal Nick Pivetta start here, 5 innings, 3 runs, not bad but also not ideal. Every once in a while he would pitch like prime Nolan Ryan but overall it was usually just mid games like this. He was still a huge part of this team for a while and I absolutely loved him. Nick Pivetta would fit right in with this 2026 team. Kinda sad he's not part of it. I'll always love you Nick Pivetta (as long as you don't play for the Yankees, I could never love a Yankee)
