Darius Acuff needed to fulfill his superstar potential and give a legendary performance if Arkansas was going to beat Arizona. He didn’t have that in him tonight. He is unfortunately no Walter Clayton Jr. Tbf, blaming Acuff would be highly disingenuous. He was part of why the blowout wasn’t worse because the Wildcats just clobbered the Razorbacks. 6 Wildcats had double digit points compared to Arkansas’s 3. Arizona barely needed to take any 3s because they were having such a great time getting inside and either making a shot or getting fouled. Out of the 6 3s they shot, they only missed 1. Arizona stomped on Arkansas’s throat and never stopped putting their full weight on it. The 2nd half was basically all garbage time with Acuff being pulled at one point for an injury, as if we didn’t need confirmation they lost. At least it was fun to watch the offenses.”
