Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “Arizona makes it back to the Final 4 for the first time since 2001 with a convincing win that took a while to materialize. I had the upmost confidence in Arizona to beat Purdue. However, to my surprise and their credit, Purdue was cooking early. As expected, Arizona’s interior defense was causing issues for Purdue, but everything else was clicking. Braden Smith looked like he was on his way to have a legacy game, their paint defense was causing even more issues for Arizona and their 3s were dropping. It looked like the Boilermakers could pull it off. Unfortunately, pretty much all the good I mentioned fell apart part way through the 2nd half. Braden Smith’s deferring wasn’t working and he couldn’t score himself, Arizona began dominating the paint on both sides and the shot go cold at the worst time. The Wildcats also woke up. Peat finally found himself, Burries finally hit his shots and Krivas was a monster on the glass. Big chunk of the 2nd half was just waiting for the end. ”
