In their last ever game as a West Coast Conference member the Gonzaga Bulldogs come out victorious. They had to let the league know they run it and thats why they are leaving. Wish Saint Mary's was there it would've been a grand finale. But Santa Clara put up a great fight until the final four minutes and that shows me a lot. Santa Clara will be a solid team to beat in March and arent conference merchants no they can make a run. If they closed out this game better they could've won. Herb Sendek is such a great coach.

Thought Santa Clara would pull off the upset in this one. Looked like they would in the first half but Gonzaga dominated the second. Nonetheless, I think Santa Clara should still be in the NCAA tournament. Very talented WCC this year and they should be a 3-bid league this season.
