I glazed Freddie Freeman in another take so I thought I’d go back and talk about that time that he put the world on his back. Back at a time when we were a little bit as hated as we are today, I remember going into this game with the mindset that people not only wanted us to lose, but had a divine intellect that it would happen. This is a very important matchup for me, first World Series since the ‘incident’ and even though that was just a year ago before this, I still was scared because anything can happen. In my personal life, this game also fell on the day that I had a high school football playoff game to attend, thankfully one of my dearest friends is a yankee, for whatever reason, and we watched this while our school went on to lose by 22. We had fun for the most part, everyone else didn’t. The watch party moved the watch party to the bathroom for a while and then we moved it back outside. That individual ran his mouth, but Aaron Judge made no attempt to defend him. Others joined.
