Same shit different day. Buehler wasn’t good but did enough to keep it close enough. The offense couldn’t hit water in a boat. Defense wasn’t good enough to make up for the deficit. Nick Birdi thankfully looks better than Newcomb in the role of inning eater. That’s about the only positive.
