Marlins left way too many guys on base. 14. The Rangers had a total of 4 hits, and 2 of their 4 runs were the ghost runners in extras. This game shouldn’t have been close and definitely shouldn’t have gone twelve innings. Finally got the lead in the 10th to give up a game tying bomb and then won it in 12 innings.
Technically, the Marlins playoff hopes are still alive. They need the Mets to go 1-7 and to go 7-1 themselves. It’s not gonna happen but man would it be cool if it did.

I’d be lying if I told y’all that I had faith in the Rangers during this game. Starting in the 4th, I was 100% expecting the Marlins to not only get a run but win this game with how bad we looked with the bat. What I didn’t expect was an outfielder with 5 home runs would hit a homer to tie it up. But that pit of anxiety only continued as the game went on, even when the Rangers showed genuine life. It finally got confirmed after 12 innings. I was just waiting for the end in the bottom of the 12th. The Rangers hitting issues, especially without Seager are biting them hard in the ass at the worst time. Extra innings save this game from the yellow
