Marlins decided to give me a heart attack at the end with Agustin Ramirez’s incredibly bad defense and Joc Pederson’s foul homer that would’ve walked it off. Thankfully, they held on to win on my birthday. Troy Johnston and Connor Norby hit back to back homers. It is still possible for a playoff push but they gotta keep winning and hoping the Mets, Reds, and DBacks start losing.

It’s the hope that makes it hurt more. A 6 game losing streak, right when the Rangers NEED to win games, heck of a way to blow a real chance to make the playoffs all while bailing out the Astros losing their series to the Mariners (unless the Guardians catch them). But more importantly for this game, more even than the last game in this series, but I still felt the Marlins had the advantage, Rangers were fortunate to even have a shot, even though this game went back and forth.
