We still control our own destiny for the central and have a much easier final series than Detroit on paper, but boy it would’ve been sweet to have this one. Messick was about as good as you can when giving up 3 HRs but a few mistake pitches will come back to bite this offense more often than not. Credit to Detroit for breaking out of their funk. What a weekend ahead!”
