Incredibly disappointing to see this team come out so flat. You could afford to drop a game last night and I understand how hard it is to keep winning at such a clip, but to look like that in front of the home crowd with a playoff spot hanging in the balance is brutal. Cecconi got smacked early and a momentary swing in momentum faded into getting carved up by Leiter other than the one Manzardo ball. Credit to Texas for playing so well with nothing on the line and a lineup lacking in regulars. Gotta put this one behind us and say a massive thank you to the Sox for bailing us out. You’re still in first in the division. Don’t let them take it from you.

Omg… the hitters… they have woken up from their coma! WHERE WAS THIS BEFORE?! That can be discussed another time, but this game acts as a massive life-line for the Tigers. Tigers fans can thank the combined efforts of Tellez, Cody Freeman and Alejandro Osuna for it. For once the Rangers actually took the early lead and thanks to their pitching, didn’t give it up. Ramirez is always a pain to deal with, but he was kept relatively quiet as was most of the Guardians lineup. Manzardo gave them some life in that first inning but no-one else besides Steven Kwan (who is NOT a scrub, glaring at all the media calling the Guardians scrubs outside of Ramirez) could get much. Rangers may actually play spoiler.
