Would’ve been cool if we got four Game 3s but the Dodgers weren’t gonna let that happen. Credit to the Reds for putting more of a fight in this one and giving this game much more action than game 1, but again, the Dodgers just overwhelmed them by blowing it up in the 6th and simply held on from there. Reds got the bases loaded while down 4… just for Friedl to strikeout looking. At that point, I knew their season was over. Cool to see Betts remind us that he is still damn good at baseball despite what his regular season stats would tell you. Meanwhile, the Reds got a great game out of Sal Stewart. But that couldn’t save this game from being much more than a smooth Dodgers win.

Yeah everyone knew this was going to happen. Cincinnati way to rally your city together for a special run. There is potential for the future. Obviously there are improvements that are needed but this season was more of a success than this franchise has seen in a long time

The Mets would have absolutely suffered the same fate here so to that end I am grateful that it was the Reds instead. Delaying the inevitable end to the biggest collapse in Professional Sports this side of the 21st century is a small win for me. Appreciate the Jets for their no nonsense approach at being the worst. There’s no sugar coating it with those guys. They suck right in your face and make no apologies. You gotta respect it.
The Knicks season can’t start soon enough.
