I was pretty impressed when the cubs somehow got the first run of the game and then we watched as the brewers took 6 in the bottom of the first, this one was over before it began 😂

The Cubs struck first with a Busch home run, but that would be the last time Chicago would even sniff this win. Milwaukee responded with 6 in the bottom of the first and coasted from there

Looked promising for the Cubs early with a leadoff homer by Michael Busch before the Brewers shot that promise in the bottom half of the first by putting up 6 runs (2 earned) and then 3 more in the second. Anybody whose team isn’t still alive wants the Brewers to make the World Series from the NL side and this is a promising start.

I can’t think of a better way this series could’ve started for Brewers fans. Michael Busch sends a message in the first inning and the Brewers respond to that by peppering Matt Boyd and taking him out early. Just forcing the Cubs to use their bullpen early is a win. But that on top of Peralta dealing and an easy comfortable win makes this a dream come true. Cubs fought, but they could only manage a few solo shots. Very one-sided game, Brewers and people rooting for the Brewers (Me) are hoping for more of this.
