Watched
great game overall cubs took the lead early on scoring 4 runs all game with all of them in the first inning. PCA finally showed up to a game this postseason and played pretty good. Brewers tried forcing a comeback with a Chourio leadoff double in the 8th then they left him stranded after a close call for a double play and a strikeout. In the ninth the cubs pitching dominated going 1-2-3 to end it with one strikeout in the mix of that

The Cubs get some redemption tonight as they throw a haymaker after the Brewers threw the first punch. Thanks in part to some PCA redemption. But the Brewers very slowly clawed back into this game. And by Brewers, I really mean Jake Bauers as he led the charge with 2 RBIs. Bauers nearly completed the comeback on his own but he couldn’t come through with the bases loaded. Shame, I was rooting for him too. Cubs hang on for the win. If only my stream hadn’t cut out in the 9th. At least I saw Hoerner make a good defensive play.
