This game started with a home run from William Contreras which was quickly followed by a Suzuki home run, but that was the last time Chicago would score! Vaughn would get the lead back for Milwaukee and Turang would tack on an insurance run with another bomb! Uribe was able to close out the last 2 innings as the Brewers punch their ticket to the NLCS!

The Brewers close it out. They are heading back to the NLCS. While not as legendary as Mariners-Tigers, this game shouldn’t be brushed off as a dud. It was far from it. 1st inning was electric with both teams going back and forth with solo shots. It became a tense pitching duel and an edge-of-your-seat bullpen battle and in the end, the Brewers pulled away with 2 more solo shots. The most crucial reliever being Chad Patrick who was an absolute CHAD with his performance and getting massive strikeouts to prevent the Cubs from getting a rally. I love the final 4 this year, praying for Mariners-Brewers World Series.
