Yankees end the Blue Jays’ undefeated streak against them in the postseason in a high scoring close game. But I’m going to be completely honest and I don’t think this is an overreaction; this is worst case scenario for the Blue Jays. Not just because they lost, but because they lost while burning through their bullpen. Jays went up early and John Schneider clearly thought that they could go for the kill shot and punch their ticket to the ALCS. Unfortunately for him and Jays fans, they did not do that, if anything, they took a hard punch to the gut from the Yankees, led by Aaron Judge. If the Yankees find a way to win this series, game 3 is going to be the one we look back on and say “that was the turning point”. Jays need a deep start in game 4, but unfortunately for them, the Yankees probably starting Schlittler.

Statcast on Aaron Judge's HR: It was off a 99.7 mph pitch that was 1.2 feet inside (vs. the center of the zone). It’s the first time in the pitch-tracking era (since 2008), regular season or postseason combined, that a hitter has homered off a 99-plus mph pitch that also was that far inside.
He is literally the only person on the planet that could've hit that homer.
