Watched
18 innings, 6 hours and 45 minutes. The 2nd longest World Series game ever and easily the best game of this World Series so far. An absolute nail biter from beginning to end, especially in extras. But before extras, Shohei Ohtani. He is THE unicorn in all of sports. By god, he is ridiculous. 2 home runs and responsible for almost every run the Dodgers scored. It’s crazy to say, but Shohei literally carried the Dodgers’ offense. He was basically flawless, only a caught stealing sullied his amazing performance. In response, the Jays made Ohtani the only batter to be intentionally walked 4 consecutive times in a World Series game. The fear factor is Barry Bonds-esque. For the Jays, it was much more of a team effort with Kirk leading the way. Both teams had so many chances to win this game, so many jams and close calls that both teams’ bullpens kept escaping. Basically every pitcher in both bullpens got used in this all-time classic. In the end, Freddie Freeman, the marathon man, ends it.

The first ever 10.0 rating from me for a dodgers win, cherish this moment, this is rate gam history. In the actual ballgame though, I just can’t be mad. Huge fight and effort from every single player out there on that field, playing 18 straight innings is unfathomable to me, and everyone earned my respect tonight. Yes, even the dodgers. This respect WILL vanish at 14:00 pacific time today in preparation of game four. Can’t belive I’m saying this but congrats dodgers. Also can’t belive I just watched a 7 hour baseball game. I ate dinner, laid sick on the couch, biked to McDonald’s, got McDonald’s but blew my tire coming home, walked with a heavy bike on my back two miles, ate McDonald’s in my dorm with Karlina, finished ALL that and STILL had 3 more innings of baseball left. My muscles hurt and I’m somehow sicker than when the day started.
