Top fan take from @nbreitbarth: “Twins fan - This game sucked. If you just looked at the score you’d think, “Oh a high scoring game, I’m sure it was fun to watch.” Nope. Bad play all around from the Twins. Was 12-1 after the 6th and then we saw Derek Shelton pull Royce and Buxton with bases loaded opportunities to prevent any injuries, only for the Twins to make a little comeback late and make it at least close. The offense was abysmal for the first 6 innings. Genuinely hard to watch and multiple times I wanted to throw my computer. Joe Ryan got beat around today too and I’m sure the weather did have some affect on his stuff and the grip, but so did their pitcher who we should have been able to knock around. Buxton is supposed to be a lefty killer, but he hasn’t been able to do anything versus lefties so far in 2026. He swings at junk pitches in the dirt and doesn’t look comfortable in the box. Twins drop to 1-4 now and the little amount of hope there was for 2026 is flying out the window. ”
