Konnor Griffin makes a big debut! He had an RBI double for his first big league hit as he started a rally in the bottom of the 2nd that gave Pittsburgh four runs. O'Hearn's sacrifice fly to get Reynolds to home was the difference in the end. Griffin kid has a BRIGHT future.

Good debut for Konnor, an rbi double and a run, plus a win for the pirates. Representative of things to come

The crowd was absolutely electric. Starting to the root for the Pirates to make the playoffs this season. Need that energy in the playoffs. Konnor Griffins first hit is an RBI double right between 1st and 2nd. The city has to be ecstatic right now

Kyle Bradish had an awful 2nd inning giving up 4 runs. He came back well after that but giving up 4 isn't very good. Konnor Griffin made his MLB debut today for the Pirates at age 19 and he scored a run and got an rbi. Orioles were benefited in this one with Oneil Cruz having lack luster defense. Still couldnt win though.

I have not seen PNC Park that full and that loud in a long time. Konner Griffin get a RBI double and sends the stadium into a frenzy. Cruz still sucks at center.

Always exciting when the top prospect makes their debut and the best part is it happened in a game that was already good. Luckily, we wouldn’t have to wait long for the main event. Konnor Griffin came up to the plate in the bottom of the 2nd, with 1 out and a runner on 1st. Griffin’s first ever MLB at-bat started out dicey with him swinging at everything and missing more often than not. Luckily, he regained his composure after he he 2 strikes. After a collective deep breath from the Pittsburgh faithful, he smacked an RBI double into the gap in centre field. That double kicked off a rally. He scored a run thanks to a hit from the very next batter and the Pirates finished the inning with a 4-0 thanks to the rally Griffin started. Without that rally, the Pirates do not win this game. The Orioles eventually found a way to climb back into it. O’Hearn gave the Pirates a valuable insurance run that saved Gunnar’s 9th inning homer from tying the game and the Pirates get an ever-elusive win.

They were dominating us but we almost made a comeback but couldn’t quite get it done

Painful game as an Os fan, but it was still a good one. Connor Griffen had a nice debut( at the expense of Kyle Bradish) but the Os made a late come back. Gunner made it close but they came up short. Gonna be fun to watch Griffens career unfold, hope he’s a stud (just not against us)

Orioles nearly looked alive at the end but couldn't claw it back, the fielding for the pirates yet again was not there and nearly lost them a game AGAIN.
