I love Shelton giving him a leash and letting him finish the 6th. Gives confidence to your guys you trust them to do their job. Offense was sluggish at times but Brooks Lee got the job done in the end. Loved that moment for him as he has struggled to start the year. Royce had some solid contact today and ended up with an infield single on his worst contact of the day. Also had a Royce scare where you thought he’d be out for months on a non-contact injury after a swing. But he stayed in and then showed he is “probably” fine after running out that previously mentioned infield single. Bullpen was better today. Not many available arms so Shelton had to get fancy. Acton came in and I was impressed. Attacked hitters well and executed for two innings. Then Orze comes in and seals the deal in the 9th. Twins improve to 7-6 and will look to improve on their Canadian trip. ”
