Pretty funny that the Phillies decide to show out offensively when everyone's eyes are on the Flyers

This game continued with today’s trend of high scoring games. Philly gets going early with a Schwarbomb. The first of two on the day for him. Sanchez gets the QS going 6 IP and giving up 2 or 3 ER not sure exactly off memory. Cubs fought back a little late but still not close to enough.

My team lost but my fantasy players crushed so I’ll take it

If you enjoy home runs and bats, this is a good game to watch, my cubbies put up 7 runs but allowed 13 of them. Bats showing high capabilities but pitching IL issue is going to be a problem.

Yeah, that's what I thought. So glad I turned this off to watch the WNBA draft because I got more out of the draft than this game...and that's saying something.

Partially Watched

It's great to see the Phillies' offense come back, but it is not fun watching Topper start making dumb moves again. We gave up like five runs by bringing in Seth Johnson, a 27 yo pitcher with a career ERA over 10. He bumbles around while Otto Kemp and Dylan Moore waste our time and Brandon Marsh is played in RF (he doesn't play RF). Stupid manager.

Couple of Schwarbombs

Aside from Assad the cubs looked pretty complete today, which is what it theoretically should be. Despite the cubs having a low ERA it feels like pitching is hurting every single game.
