Top fan take from @jacksauer2: “The Astros offense has been carried by Yordan Alvarez this year, and in the past by Jose Altuve. However in this game, Alvarez went 1 for 5 and Altuve 0 for 5. Isaac Paredes was the one who stepped up, with 2 home runs. In the first year of his new contract, Christian Walker looked like an absolute bust for the Astros. He hopes to rebound this year and certainly helped his case today going 3 for 5 with a homer. On the Guardians side, really just no positives to take away from this one. Chase DeLauter and Jose Ramirez, the current and future cornerstone of the Guardians lineup, went a combined 1 for 8 Obviously, you can't judge either off of 1 game, but I love overreacting. In reality, DeLauter is a prime Rookie of the Year contender, and Christian Walker is an average hitter at best. But that's the beauty of baseball. No matter who's usually good and who usually sucks, something different will happen every day.”
