Well, not sure how but the Tigers break the losing streak thanks to a Gage Workman HR. Can’t say I’ve ever heard of him before but what a moment for the guy. Hopefully that’s a momentum changing moment for this team. They definitely needed it. Can’t even vote for Workman for POTG 😂.

Well marte definitely didn't swing all the way on that pitch in the 9th but it doesn't matter anyway because the tigers can't be silenced in this one! On to new York. Should be a nice series for the tigers because they get to play the mets. Mets did have the most strikeouts in baseball last I checked tho, and the key word is should. Royals will stay in the AL central with a series vs the white sox

THE TIGERS WIN!!!! THEY WIN!!!! THEY WON!!!!! HUGE morale boost for the motor city kitties this afternoon. Pitching chaos worked for the most part. Drew Anderson was bad, but his stuff looked decent? They got out to an early 3-0 lead before blowing it. Enter Gage Workman. THE TRUTH. First at bat as a Tiger and he goes yard. Dude rakes in the minors and we REFUSED to call him up? Welcome back to the show kid. You’re good enough for Detroit kid. Pitching chaos did the rest of the work with some timely ground balls and Kenley slammed the door shut. Hopefully this wakes something up in them. Tough to win when there is 15!!!! Guys on the IL. Stay afloat though cats. LFG TIGERS.
