Josh Bell I think was a couple 0/4 days away from being DFA’d, safe to say he bought himself another couple weeks at least tonight. 3/4 with 2 homeruns and 4 RBIs. Solo shot in his first at bat followed by a 2 run homerun in his next at bat. Luke Keaschall was responsible for the other 2 RBIs via a bases loaded 2-run single later in the game. Astros got Pena back but just as the Astros 2026 season has gone, that means someone found themselves put onto the IL. This time it was Jose Altuve. Just unfortunate luck for the Astros who can’t see to stay healthy. As for the Twins. The record may not be great, but the AL is so weak this season they find themselves only 0.5 GB of a playoff spot via the 3rd wildcard. Insane to think that this Twins team is still right in it with how bad they’ve played. Give this team 3-4 average bullpen arms by trade or AAA pitchers in your system and you got a team.”
