A couple years ago, the talk was him being the most underrated player in the league, and while he has now gotten that recognition lately for his achievements year by year, no one recognized the cumulative stats he has all time. Today he hit his 294th career homer run. The only Guardian/Indian with more is Jim Thome. If Ramirez continues his production he'll pass Thome's 337 by the end of 2027. His 974 RBIs also puts him 2nd in team history, 110 behind Earl Averill, again, he'll catch that next season. Jose Ramirez might already be the best hitter in Cleveland baseball history and ifhe isn't yet he 100% will be by the end of the 2027 season.”
