While this result in a vacuum is infinitely better than last night, I still find myself very annoyed. Why? Because this should’ve happened last night. Sure, Gore getting hurt was a tough blow, but it’s not like he was pitching well before that. Thankfully Kumar Rocker stepped up and silenced the Rockies bats while our lineup actually produced throughout the game rather than procrastinating until the final innings. In fact, the Rangers were up multiple runs in the first inning and added to it in the 2nd. This game was never in doubt and I’m grateful for that, I just wish we hadn’t messed around and found out. Duran continues his strange, but productive up and down season with a great game today, Nimmo appears to have returned to his strong form and Joc Pederson just kept finding a way to hit the ball away from the defense. Would love if the lineup could do more of this kind of thing the rest of the season.”
