Top fan take from @jacksauer2: “This wasn’t a meaningful game at all, but it brought back a nice memory for me. A few years ago, I went out to Colorado for a trip with my dad. We hiked in the Rockies and went to Coors Field for a game between the Rangers and Rockies. Got a ball signed by Charlie Culberson, Jon Gray, and Sox legend Martin Perez. I loved Coors Field, the row of seats in the upper deck to mark a mile high were very cool. CJ Cron hit a clutch homer late to give the Rockies a win, was a fun environment to be in. As for this game, it was solid. Kyle Freeland and young Ranger Jack Leiter each with a solid, but not great start. The 8th inning was almost one of the most Rockies innings ever, nearly a complete disaster. And then of course in the 9th, the Rangers score off a wild pitch. Most Rockies way to blow the lead. And then Josh Jung, the Rangers best hitter this year, came through with the hit to take the lead 5-4. In the pouring rain, Jacob Latz was able to close out the game and the series.”
