Because you can clearly see he can go out and be amazing when we have an opener, he went 7 scoreless today without issuing a walk. But it didn’t matter, because in the first inning, Tyler Samaniego opened the game and allowed 5 runs. Whether it’s Jovani Moran or now Samaniego, it seems like it’s a guaranteed first inning run for the other team, and you just can’t have that happen once every 5 days. But the problem is, whenever Bello outright starts the game, he falls apart in the first 3 innings. No matter which situation they put Bello in, it’s early runs for the opponent every single time. Ultimately, its on Bello to figure things out because he is a starting pitcher, there’s no reason he shouldn’t be able to start a game.”
