Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “Another Rangers win the bullpen tried to take away, but luckily was unsuccessful in blowing the game. Already a good thing, but it gets even better when you remember that they also made sure a brilliant Jack Leiter outing didn’t go to waste. I know the Royals aren’t the Dodgers, but watching Leiter carve through that lineup and generate a good amount of swings and misses was beautiful to watch. Combine that with an excellent 1st inning rally started by Jung that gave us a 4-run lead before Leiter 2 of his career high 10 Ks and I thought this was going to be smooth sailing. Silly me. After Leiter’s 5 and 2 thirds innings of work, Beeks and Gray had good outings to keep the game safely in our hands. Then Collyer came in, hit Salvy and gave up a homer to put doubt into my mind. Thankfully; my anxiety was wrong for once and the Rangers hung on. Even though that doubt was real for me, I can acknowledge the game was never truly in doubt if I ignore my pessimism. Would love more starts like”
